Therapy and Evaluations
Individual Therapy for Victims/Survivors, $85+/hour
We provide therapy for survivors of abuse.
Why is it important to work on trauma? Sometimes, our past continues to impact our present, and either we don't know why or we don't like it. Addressing what impacted us in the past can allow us to heal and move forward in a way we never have been able to before.
This may look like:
-
Ongoing individual sessions
-
Providing adjunct EMDR or Neurofeedback while the client continues ongoing therapy with another provider
-
Psychoeducation about restorative justice and discussing what may be available to the client, including vicarious restorative justice/meeting with an offender
-
Psychoeducation about consent and sexual abuse, to promote understanding about, "What happened to me?"
-
Psychoeducation about the cycle of abuse, to promote understanding about, "Why me? Why was I victimized?"
(Note: We recognize many offenders have experienced abuse themselves, and they are welcome to seek trauma treatment with us.)

Services to promote sexual wellness, $85/hour
This may look like:
-
Boundaries treatment. This is typically eight to 10 sessions and focuses on boundaries, healthy relationships, consent, and empathy.

-
Psychoeducation about sex and relationships to children, adolescents, and adults so they can make healthy decisions that are right for them. Basic information can typically covered in one to four sessions, depending on need, age, and knowledge.
-
Psychoeducation about consent and how to talk to potential partners about sexual behaviors and safe practices. Basic information can typically be covered in one to two sessions.
-
Providing a safe place for children to talk to their parents about sex. This can typically be facilitated in a one-hour session.
-
If you have concerns about your sexual attitudes or behavior, we can provide education and help you establish healthy patterns.

Evaluations, $1,000
We complete comprehensive mental health evaluations and substance use evaluations, which are comprised of a clinical interview, testing, diagnosis (if applicable), and recommendations for treatment.
We can complete a much briefer initial substance use evaluation (without testing) for $250.

Restorative Justice
What is restorative justice?
-
A framework that seeks to address harm caused by wrongdoing
-
It is concerned with the harm caused and not the specific violation
-
Acknowledges the interconnectedness of all human beings and its main purpose is to promote healing
-
Acknowledges harm caused to crime victims, as well as to their families, friends, and surrounding communities
We offer the opportunity for clients to repair harm they have caused by providing vicitm panels and restorative justice projects. We also offer Vicarious Restorative Justice, which brings people who have offended together with people who have been victimized (but not by their own specific offenders). This allows victims/survivors the opportunity to continue their healing process by meeting with offender clients who have made progress in treatment and can provide accountability, empathy, and answers to victims/survivors.
Substance Use Services (Individual Sessions), $85+/session
Many people examine their habits, including their consumption of alcohol, use of cannabis/marijuana, and use of other substances. We view substance use on a continuum from abstinence to experimenting to regular use to misuse to abuse. Substance use often masks mental health symptoms and can be a way for us to escape what we do not want to feel. In this way, we take a trauma-informed approach with those who want to explore their reasons for using, the impact of their use, and individualized goals related to use. Depending on the client's life circumstances, abstinence or a harm-reduction approach may be utilized.

Mitigation Services, $150/hour
We assist attorneys by providing pre-plea mental health services to ensure the needs of clients are being met as they navigate the legal system. We can also help clients and their attorneys identify risk factors and work with clients to manage risk. We aim to support clients in telling their story, reducing the effects of aggravating factors, and preparing them for sentencing.

Our rates may vary whether clients are under community supervision (e.g. pre-trial, probation, parole) or are self-referrals/self-pay. We do not accept health insurance, including Medicaid. If you are a Medicaid client, please know that mental health providers are not allowed to accept payment for covered mental health services. In other words, Medicaid clients are not allowed to self-pay for individual therapy. Offense specific treatment is a rare exception and is not covered by Medicaid. If you need referrals to in-network therapists, we are happy to provide you with options.
